Countdown In The Sky

2024 is going to be a year consisting of exciting collaborations, primarily with Tampa-based EDM wizard, Near/Far!

Our first single of the year is Countdown In The Sky, a dark, synth-heavy track lyrically inspired by The Three-Body Problem (三体) by Liu Cixin.

After my FIGHT TO THE DEATH album was released in 2022, a few friends asked me if it was based on Three-Body. At the time I had not read this epic series, and any resemblance to any fictional characters living or dead was purely coincidental. Not this time! This time the resemblance is completely intentional. Thank you to fictional scientist Wang Miao for the inspiration!

We scheduled our release date to coincide with the release of the 3 Body Problem TV series on Netflix, and very much look forward to watching the series (even though as a bit of a book purist, I will inevitably become enraged by whatever creative choices I disagree with).
