Planetary Sleep

Planetary Sleep was an experimental play by Finn Lucullan, performed by United Theatrics in 2021, with a custom soundtrack designed by Sappho.

“What would happen if the Earth decided it was tired of humans destroying it? The only thing that can help Kit save their planet might be something - or someone - totally alien.”

Time Machine: Live Online

Time Machine: Live Online was an experimental livestream created in collaboration with Nikai Interactive and Talk Media during the height of the COVID-19 lockdowns. Not only does it feature live vocals, it also includes live-generated, sound-responsive visual effects.

Get My Shit Together

Get My Shit Together is the first VR music video to combine Tiltbrush graphics (created in VR) and live action, winning Best Local Project at the Toronto New Wave festival 2019. Best viewed in Virtual Reality.

Girl In the Machine

Sappho played the voice of the Black Box, the Alexa-esque villain in Seven Siblings’ production of Girl In the Machine.

The Hogtown Experience

Sappho played Ronnie McBride in Hogtown, one of Toronto’s first immersive musicals. The show functioned much like Sleep No More, with audience members free to ambulate throughout the historical Campbell House.

Crash & Burn

Sappho collaborated with other electronic artists to release two instrumental albums titled Amusements (2016) and Concord (2015), as the soundtracks to the queer sci-fi webcomic, Crash & Burn. Each piece is associated with a different moment in the webcomic. Read & listen simultaneously for the most immersive experience.
